Here's what I've been up to according to my phone photos...
I am in love with my new wooden crates. I am a sucker for anything with pealing pink or aqua paint.
She fell asleep reading. Couldn't resist taking a picture. My girl.
We had family pics taken recently by Annie of Annie Hankins Photography. I always lay out our clothes like this and get way too analytical about who should wear what. Nora decided she HATED the navy and white striped jacket above the day before pictures so she wore something else but I was still pretty happy with the color scheme. Can't wait to see the pics!
This boy is growing up TOO fast. I blinked and he's a little man. Breaks my heart a little but I am loving this stage. Teenage boys are actually pretty awesome. At least this one is.
I'm assuming that it's because I'll be having a birthday this week and I'm feeling OLD but I decided I needed to do something a little crazy. Purple streaks in my hair sounded good. I took this picture in and while my streaks are definitely not this visible, I do now have some purple hair.
Pippa. She's hilarious.
I'm so excited about selling my first prints this week. I started making them as a way to help myself memorize scripture. I hope to add lots more to the shop soon!
This pen order just made me happy.
Charlie and his little friends wanted to walk over after their game and watch the 1st grade girls play soccer. So cute!
Keeping it real...Charlie's room. I give up. This mischievous little does not live by the rule "a place for everything, and everything in its place."
I'm adding bacon and different kinds of cheese to mix. I'll put avocado on mine. YUM.
MONDAY: Cilantro Lime Chicken
This one's from the freezer. I LOVE my once a month cooking club. It's the greatest thing that ever happened to our meal plan. If you're not a part of one...start one!
TUESDAY: Hamburgers on the Grill
Nathan will be in charge. Happy.
WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti and Cheese Bread
I think I'll start making pasta night my cereal for dinner night. I just don't love pasta night but my kids complain if it leaves the weekly plan. I do love Raisin Bran but for some reason my kids frown upon the idea of cereal for dinner. This week it will be pasta for them...cereal for me.
THURSDAY: Happy Halloween!
I'm a Halloween baby. I'm not cooking on my birthday. BOO!
The Baker likes to go pick up the pizza. Last week when he walked in they called him by name. It's our thing...Friday night pizza.
SATURDAY: Broccoli Cheddar Soup
It's soup season!!
That's what I'm making this week! I'd love to hear what you are having!! I'm always looking for new dinner ideas!
The very first blog I ever really got hooked on was Meg's blog. I just love her, love her blog, love her style and LOVE her house. I have read with envy every Craft Weekend post so when my friend Thuy got her name drawn and asked me to go with her, I said YES! I was super nervous about heading off to Kansas to spend the weekend with a group of women that I had never met but it turned out to be one of the best weekends ever. I had so much fun!
WARNING: This is a picture heavy post...I could not stop taking pictures!!
I usually send SWAG for the lucky ladies that attend...it was awesome to just take it with me!!
The Craft House is beyond cute. Eye candy everywhere.
I was in love at first sight with these yellow striped wood floors!
This was my bed. So pretty!
This was my name tag at my seat. There was so much SWAG but I forgot to take a picture. That might need it's own blog post!
Thank you Thuy for picking me as your "plus one!" It was too much fun!
This cheesecake was ridiculous. The food was to die for all weekend. Kimberlee did all the cooking and she is amazing!
